Sorry guys, I promise I didn't forget about you! I never actually meant to take a break from bloggging, but in hindsight, that was probably wise. I've had 2 AP tests, 2 concerts, and now this week I have 2 more tests and an AP level essay due.
I really should take a picture of my last AP American packet so you can get an idea of what total and complete torture these last few chapters AFTER the AP test have been. The packet took 2 staples to hold together! And it may still fall apart! I seriously believe that my left hand is now permanently black. I haven't seen it this covered in graphite in years now. So, nobody be surprised if when I go insane, the test on friday just magically disappears. As much as I love the class (where else do you watch the Thriller music video as part of class?), my mind is DONE for the year! If I get many more assignments, I may have to start lugging around salmons (to slap with) and rusty spoons (to cut with).
But luckily, I've found distractions to help me through. They've become obsessions really. And I loved these long before now, it's just taken me until now to post about them.
Avengers:

Do I really need to say more? But I will anyways. After several hours of homework, I'm always ready for a Superhero movie, particularly Thor or Captain America. One of these days, I will drive myself broke and go buy ALL of the Avengers movies (which yes, I've seen.). This will be a long list- Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Hulk, and The Avengers. Yes, I will wait in lines the day it comes out to buy it!

Obsession 2: Doctor Who

This is an old obsession from Junior High reborn. I really love David Tennant as the Doctor. That, and I have a penchant for all things British it seems. But seriously, I LOVE this show. And (un)fortunately for me, ALL of the David Tennant episodes are on Netflix! I think it's fate I dicsovered this three weeks before summer vacation....

Obsession 3: Agatha Christie

Again, this is an old obsession. Maybe it's because it combines my love of British stuff, the 1920's, and Cop shows/ mysteries. Whatever the reason, I'm always ready to read a Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot book, and even reread them. I read 3 in the past week (instead of doing homework. oops) and would have read more if I'd had time.

Obsession 4 (I promise this is the last one!): The 2005 Pride and Prejudice

It seriously may have made my weekend to get to see this again. If there is one thing I KNOW is going to college with me, it's this movie. Really, I have serious problems with remaining calm while watching this movie. Blankets start on the couch, end up on the floor, popcorn goes flying, people go deaf, and in the end, i'm seen as really weird. But this is pretty much favorite movie ever, so I'm okay with it. I won't go into why I love this movie now, otherwise you'd be here a LONG time, but you can be pretty certain to hear about it again in the near future.

Do you have an obsession?
